... Well our winter season spent in the Great State of Texas has again come to a close and we have to head back to the cold climates for the summer. This time we will be driving the car instead of the Motorhome and have the car loaded (and I mean LOADED) and we still had to leave a lot of "STUFF" in the shed and Moble Unit that we had rented for the winter. Since we are not driving the Motorhome and are taking the car instead, we decided to take the quickest route North instead of our normal Motorhome route through the middle of Texas and up through our Campgrounds North of Houston. We just headed on up US Hwy 281 to San Antonio and then onto Interstate 35 through Austin to Waco then headed NorthEast toward Arkansas. We made it to Corsicana Texas and stopped there for the night.

... Up and attum early again this morning, we had the contenental breakfast served in the Motel and loaded up and headed on Notheast towards Texarkana. We drove through Bogata, Cuthand and Clarksville on the way just to see if anything new had popped up since our last visit but nothing had. We stopped for the night in Hot Springs.

... After spending a nice night in Hot Springs, we headed on up through the scenic route through the hills of Arkansas and stopped at Branson (as usual). We rented a condo at Pointe Royale where we usually stay when we are in Branson and not in our motorhome.

... After two nights in Branson, We decided to head on home.

... This morning we all got up early and drove down to Sioux City for our somewhat normal Saturday morning breakfast at the Horizon Cafe. After breakfast we went over to Menards and looked around for any things that we might just not be able to live without but all we found was a couple of light bulbs. Then we went on over to Barnes and Nobels to catch up on the latest information in books and of course to obtain our starting to be normal purchase of coffee and hot chocolate.

... Dental appointment this morning to replace a crown on one of his teeth. Then off to Royal River for fun at the slots.

... Finally we got the lawn mower running and got the lawn mowed. It was getting quite tall.

... Barb is off bowling this morning with the old guys. It rained a little bit last night. Lots of loud thunder but not much rain.
